The DMW-BGS1E Battery Grip for LUMIX S Series accepts one additional DMW-BLJ31 rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended shooting time. It has a secondary shutter release button as well as an Fn button, joystick and AF-ON button.
Extended battery life
By using two batteries - one in the camera and the other in the grip*, the DMW-BGS1 doubles the battery life for extended shooting.
*A battery pack is not included in the DMW-BGS1.
Rugged design
Robust construction and a sealing for every joint, dial, and button make the DMW-BGS1 not only dust resistant and splash resistant* but also operates down to -10 degrees Centigrade.
*Dust and Splash Resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this battery grip is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.
